  • I called John Vigil after receiving an estimate from a competitor that I thought was very high. Mr. Vigil came over the next day to estimate the job and I shared my budget with him. He said he would meet my budget, about $150 less expensive than the first painter. I needed my fence cleaned and stained, which is a much tougher job than it sounds. John showed up when he said he would, and pressure washed the fence thoroughly. He came back the next day, and did the painting work, masking off our house and putting dropcloths down on the rock below the fence so it would not stain. The job took two more gallons of paint than he estimated and he did not ask for any more money. I was able to get him a 20% discount on the materials using our HOA's project number which helped with the extra stain he needed to cover. Everything was cleaned up thoroughly, my wife was very pleased with how meticulous Mr. Vigil was and happy that we got this project done within our planned budget. I will use Mr. Vigil again any time I need painting services exterior or interior.
